Automated Moodle exercise generation

Description #

Built while teaching assistant for Information, Data and Computers, part of ETH’s CAS in Data and Machine Learning.

Writing and marking exercises by hand for every cohort did not scale, so I built a pipeline that generates randomised problem instances from templates, computes the reference solution for each instance, and emits them in a format Moodle can import and grade automatically. Each participant gets a different instance of the same problem, and grading is immediate.
